What can I use the Xtracto for?
You can use the Xtracto to safely and efficiently remove marquee pins, ground anchors, road form pins, fence posts and concrete shuttering pins from the ground.
Its applications are endless - our customers range from event organisers, to oyster farmers, to construction workers, and more!
Can I use any impact wrench?
Not currently - there are 3 compatible models of impact wrench:
- Milwaukee M18 FHIW2F12
- Makita TW007G
- DeWalt DCF900
The compatibility is based on the impact wrench being able to fit to the Xtracto mounting bracket, and the torque ratings of the impact wrench too.
What Hook(s) do I need?
Choose the Hook with the closest internal diameter to your pin or post.
The Hook needs to be close fitting around the material you are pulling, to allow it to “bite”.
If you are not sure on which Hook size to purchase, please contact us and supply some dimensions of what you wish to extract, and we will be able to advise on which Hook we would recommend.
How do I use it?
Set up your Xtracto following the User Manual, then simply attach your chosen impact wrench to the bracket provided. Ensure your Hook is lowered to the ground, and position the Hook around the pin you wish to extract. Operating the impact wrench clockwise will raise the Hook of the Xtracto, allowing you to pull out your pins or posts. When the Hook reaches the top of its thread, operate the impact wrench anticlockwise to bring it back down to the floor, ready to grab your pin again.
