Xtracto: Impact Wrench-Powered Pin Puller (Bundle With Impact Wrench)

Xtracto is a professional tool made in Canada, for the safe and fast removal of formwork pins, road pins, marquee pins, drive rods, wooden stakes, metal fence posts, scaffold poles, small trees and shrubs. There is no limit to the length of pin or stake that can be removed. It does not damage the pin or formwork.

Xtracto exerts a pulling force of 2.5 Tonnes (2500kg), ensuring successful removal even from hard ground. Significant time is saved on building sites, civil engineering projects, road construction, and event break-down.

A Hook or Chain is supplied to suit the application - a close fitting Hook is required. Hooks can be quickly changed to a different size in less than 60 seconds.
Base Plate Extensions can be supplied for use in soft ground - please contact us.

How does it work?
Set up your Xtracto following the User Manual, then simply attach your chosen impact wrench to the bracket provided. Ensure your Hook is lowered to the ground, and position the Hook around the pin you wish to extract. Operating the impact wrench clockwise will raise the Hook of the Xtracto, allowing you to pull out your pins or posts. When the Hook reaches the top of its thread, operate the impact wrench anticlockwise to bring it back down to the floor, ready to grab your pin again.

Which Hook do I need?
The Hook needs to be close fitting around the material you are pulling, to allow it to “bite”. For example, if your pins are 25mm in diameter, you would need the Hook XTH-02, which is suitable for 25-30mm pins.

If you are not sure which Hook size to purchase, please contact us and supply some dimensions of what you wish to extract, and we will be able to advise on which Hook we would recommend.
